Nothing matters except you

When you get down to it, you are either motivated by the things that happen to you in life, or you just give up.  Not being one to give up, I again start to move on.

When you write music, what do you think is important?  Do you start with a beat, an idea or the lyrics?


I know a little bit about the subject of song writing.  Only because I have had the luxury of owning a recording studio and recording some good ones.

I think is it best to start with an idea for a song.   Then let the creative aspects of the idea create the song.
