Primer 55 Coming to Wichita

Bobby Burns project for many years, Primer 55 has a unique sound.  With Donny it had a much more wrap rock feel.  Bobby is no longer with SOULFLY so I think he as put more effort into his new stuff here with Primer 55.

June 2nd at The Lizards' Lounge, 300 S Greenwich Road, Wichita Kansas.  Bobby brings Primer 55 to Wichita.  Opening for Primer 55 is a local favorite, The Evolution Of Pain.

TEOP has added a second guitar to their line up Jayson Rohrback.  It gives them more room to move around genre without blemishes.  Still in work on their second studio album 'Revival' we expect to see the full release late summer.

The first band, 'Empire Falls' is new to the Wichita Scene.  The musicians have been involved with other projects here in Wichita, but this line up they seem to think will get them where they want to be.

Verdict still out.  Come out next Sunday because Monday is a Holliday.  You can still have a good time and its on a Sunday.

I am now officially in the band The Evolution of Pain. A groove metal band that is a perfect fit. I have known the members for a long time. We started writing new songs from our first practice which is always good. I missed the live performance side of music. I am enjoying writing with talented musicians again. Wind Energy is cool to me.  The picture above shows how we used it even before electricity to pump water.  Now we can make an amazing amount of electricity from a single wind turbine that you see.

Wind energy does not contaminate the environment like oil or coal.  It is classified as clean energy.  Good for the environment.  It will also reduce our dependency on oil and imports from other countries.  It creates jobs in the united states rural communities and help local economy.

Whey then are there still people opposed to it?   What is not to understand?

I have spent the last few years researching wind energy.  There is a smaller market that could help even more with our environment.  It is smaller turbines for small business, farms, schools and even homes.  There are 4 high quality manufacturers that sell wind turbines for the use in small business, schools, farms, and homes.
